The Jack London Youth Soccer Sports League provides competitive and recreational soccer for more than 7,000 youth players in Oakland, Alameda, and Piedmont. The league comprises six organizations: Alameda Soccer Club,East Bay United Soccer Club, Grass Valley Soccer Club, Montclair Soccer Club, Oakland Soccer Club, and Piedmont Soccer Club. At the monthly board meeting on March 4, 2013, Jeff Faucette was elected President of the League. Jeff previously served for three years as the board representative for East Bay United Soccer Club and as the Referee Coordinator of the Rockridge Soccer Club. Jeff is the coach of a U12 girls team, a referee, and he plays in local leagues in the East Bay.
